ITINERARY

Day 1 – Your Ski Canada Vacation Package Begins - Welcome to Vancouver
A friendly guide greets you at Vancouver airport and leads you to your motor-coach. The route leads along the Sea to Sky highway to Whistler, enjoy views of Howe Sound as you head towards Whistler.

Arrive in Whistler and instantly see why it is frequently listed among the world’s best ski resorts. The peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains rise above the bustling resort centre, filled with bars, shops, restaurants and clubs.

When choosing your Whistler ski package Fresh Tracks can book ski-in/ski-out hotels a short walk from the lifts and hotels right in the village, a short walk home from the nightlife.

Provide your ski preference and details in advance and your gear will be ready for collection at the rental shop. This is all included in your vacation package and as conditions change or if you head out into the backcountry gear can be adjusted or exchanged to suit, on a daily basis.

Day 2 – Get to Know Whistler on a ski Canada Vacation

The Fresh Tracks early bird breakfast gives you a full buffet to choose from followed by exclusive access to Whistler Mountain. Beat the crowds as once the ski patrol gives the all clear you will be one of the first to make tracks down the mountain.

After making fresh tracks on the hill, spend the rest of the day exploring Whistler Blackcomb on your own! This is the largest ski area in North America with over 8000 acres of skiable terrain with 37 lifts providing quick access to over 200 trails and 3 glaciers set amongst 12 alpine bowls.
The Peak to Peak gondola was an ambitious project completed this year - the world’s widest and highest gondola links both mountains and maximizes your time on the slopes.

Day 3 – Private Lessons on your Canada Vacation

New skiers or snowboarders and seasoned experts will enjoy a half day of private lessons with a Whistler Pro. Private instruction can quicken the learning process, help break old habits or push your comfort level with new routes and skills.

Practice what you learned this morning in afternoon and in the evening Whistler village entices with its many watering holes.

Day 4 – Backcountry Skiing in Canada

Leave the crowds and lifts behind you and venture into Garibaldi Park with Whistler Alpine Guides, to find the best untracked powder.
Thorough instruction on how to use backcountry equipment is provided before a local guide leads you down some of the Whistler’s most memorable runs. Small groups ensure a day at your own pace and individual attention.

Wind down in one of Whistler’s many character pubs this evening before trying some famous Canadian beef or seafood at Hy’s Steakhouse.

Day 5 - Whistler - Some of the best skiing in Canada
An early start is more than made up for by the early ski access and buffet breakfast offered by your second Whistler’s Fresh Tracks Breakfast. Followed by a full day exploring the on-mountain trails.
Feel free to call in an ask about our favorite runs and a few little known secret powder stashes.

Day 6 – Catskiing on Powder Mountain

If you have seen the images of heli-skiing but can’t justify the cost - cat skiing is the perfect alternative. You can experience a true backcountry adventure on this Whistler ski package as cat skiing takes you away from from the lift lines some of the best powder skiing in Whistler.
Because Snowcats run in all conditions you won’t be grounded when it’s snowing. Cat skiing is suitable for almost any level of snowboarder or skier and two certified guides help ensure one of the best days skiing in Canada.

Day 7 – Whistler & Fondue - Goes together like molten cheese and bread

After a full day of mountain hopping from Whistler to Blackcomb aboard the Peak to Peak gondola, you will have explored much of what Whistler offers and skied many runs only the locals know.

This evening you have a reservation at the Bavaria Restaurant for a three course Fondue dinner. The atmosphere is friendly and it’s a great place to celebrate the thrills and spills of your Whistler ski vacation.

Day 8 - Depart with Fond Memories

All good things come to an end, leave the alpine air and mountain views behind as your transfer carries you on your way to the airport for your flight home. See you again next year.
