Eight Day Whistler Ski Itinerary
Day 1 – Vancouver - Gateway to Whistler
After arriving at Vancouver you will be met by your driver, who takes you through the Coast Mountains along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. This is on of the most scenic drives to any ski resort in the world.
Check in to a top rated Whistler’s hotels, where you will enjoy seven nights of luxury. We choose our hotels based on standard of service, location, amenities and our general impression from first hand experience.
Day 2 – Private Instruction From A Whistler Ski Pro
Everyone benefits from private instruction. A half day of private ski lessons is the best way to quickly learn the basics, or break old habits and push beyond your comfort level. Then spend the rest of the day practicing what the Whistler Ski Pro taught you have or exploring the new areas introduced to you.
Whistler Blackcomb features 8100 acres of terrain and more than 200 trails. A Whistler ski pro will take you to the best areas for the conditions and your ability. No more unexpected mogul runs or flat spots.
In the evening head out into the pedestrian only village. We love Hy’s for a great steak dinner or the Dubh Linn Gate Irish pub has plenty of character as it was transported brick by brick from Ireland.
Day 3 – Fresh Tracks On Canada Ski Vacation Packages
This morning enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast in the Whistler Roundhouse. The early bird breakfast is followed by exclusive access to beat the crowds and ski Whistler mountain before the general public has started uploading on the gondola!
Available on all Whistler ski packages, complimentary Whistler Blackcomb tours operate twice a day and are hosted by enthusiastic locals. Ski Hosts pass along interesting information about the mountain and take you to the best runs of the day and their favorites.
Day 4 – Learn To Mush A Dogsled Team
Leave your skis behind today and learn how to mush a team of huskies! Your canine friends will lead you through old growth forests passing glistening frozen rivers to a mountain igloo. Here you strap on snow shoes and hike to Alexander Falls, one of BC’s most beautiful waterfalls.
Day 5 – Hit The Whistler Ski Trails
Work on new technique or perfect the basics with your second private lesson this morning. Progression is far quicker with personal attention and Whistler’s ski and snowboard professionals have a great reputation for effective instruction and the best techniques.
After skiing a deep tissue or sports massage is the perfect way to ease your muscles and relax before dinner.
Day 6 – Whistler Snowmobiling
Enjoy another day of skiing Whistler or Blackcomb or experience the peak to peak gondola and ski both. Look out for the silver cabins which have a fenced glass bottom for the best views.
In the evening the moonlight illuminates the trails on a guided Snowmobile excursion into Fitzsimmons Creek Valley.
Day 7 – Whistler Fine Dining
Whistler ski resort not only has an excellent snow record but also varied terrain and conveniently located mountain top restaurants. The Crystal Hut’s cozy log cabin is a perfect place to warm up and enjoy a delicious freshly made Belgian Waffle.
Tonight off the mountain dine in Whistler’s trendy Bearfoot Bistro. Your reservations promise modern Canadian cuisine and superb wine pairings but also a truly unique evening. We can reserve a table above the open kitchen, where you may watch some of Canada’s award winning chefs in action.
Day 8 – Depart with Fond Memories
If you decide to rise early there is enough time to hit the slopes for one last time. After lunch climb into your luxury SUV for the return journey to Vancouver Airport and your flight home. Much too soon your experience of skiing in Canada comes to an end.
