ITINERARY
Day 1 – Welcome to the West Coast
Enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean as your motor coach transfer carries you into the Coast Mountain range and to Whistler resort.
On arrival in Whistler it is easy to see why the resort is so often named amongst skiers favourite ski towns. Whistler village is infamous for its entertainment options from lively bars and clubs to gourmet restaurants.
Fresh Tracks can offer expert advice when choosing a hotel as our staff have visited all of the recommended places. Whether you need a hotel that is well priced and near to the village or you don’t mind a bit more seclusion in favour of luxury - we can help you find the best value option.
Day 2 – Introducing Whistler - Fresh Tracks Early Bird Breakfast
Beat the crowds this morning as one of the first to glide down the mountain after a buffet breakfast served at the Roundhouse. The Fresh Tracks early bird breakfast gives you access to the Whistler gondola and a buffet breakfast before general admission.
Hit the hills! A complimentary Whistler Blackcomb tour this morning takes you to the best areas of Whistler Blackcomb’s 8100 acres of skiing terrain, more than 200 trails, 3 glaciers and 12 alpine bowls. This year Whistler resort has the addition of the “Peak 2 Peak” gondola. It is the widest and highest in the world, ensures the best views, particularly from the glass bottomed cabins and promises to link the peaks in 11 minutes.
Day 3 – Snowmobiling on Vacations in Whistler
Today would be a great day to take advantage of the peak to peak gondola. Ski both mountains in one day - either by following the sun or avoiding the crowds.
Moonlight illuminates the way tonight on a guided Snowmobile excursion through the Fitzsimmons Creek Valley. Test the machines agility and power on this nocturnal adventure.
Day 4 – Whistler
Rise early this morning for second helpings of Whistler’s Fresh Tracks Breakfast. Beating those morning crowds will guarantee fresh tracks after a snowfall or guarantee perfectly groomed corduroy.
Each mountain top restaurants has something unique, ranging from curry to cinnamon buns to fresh waffles. In the spring sit out on a patio, soak up the sun and savor something hot off the barbecue.
Day 5 – Varied Terrain always Provides new Challenge
Now your ski legs are warmed up it’s time to tackle more challenging runs - brave a double black diamond or hike for a backcountry line.
Recount the days highlights in your favorite Whistler hot spot.
Day 6 – Whistler
Skiing down the mountain first is an opportunity too good to miss, and the Fresh Tracks buffet breakfast is the best way to fill up for a day in the great outdoors!
Spend the rest of the day perfecting your skills and re-visiting those favourite runs. Or if you feel like a break try one of the many other winter activities that Whistler has such as snowshoeing, zip-trekking or dogsledding.
Because our Whistler packages are fully customizable you can change the itinerary to suit your group.
Day 7 – Whistler & Fondue
Explore any runs you haven’t skied or spend the day on your new favorites. Take a midmorning break and warm up in Crystal Hut’s cozy log cabin, where you can enjoy a freshly made Waffle.
The final night of your Whistler ski package includes a Fondue Dinner at the Bavaria Restaurant, a piece of Europe in the heart of Whistler. Enjoy a three course fondue dinner with a delicious Swiss cheese fondue, an Oriental style hot broth and a Belgian chocolate fondue.
Day 8 – Depart with Fond Memories
Much too soon, you leave Whistler’s clean air and alpine sights behind as your Canada vacation package comes to an end. Travel back down the sea to sky highway to Vancouver airport for your flight home.
