With easy access to three nearby ski areas, Banff ski resort has a picturesque location that offers convenience and adventure to the winter travelers.
Choose between two Banff ski resorts, the superior option of the Banff Caribou Lodge, or the extra luxury of the deluxe Fairmont Banff Springs.
Days 2 & 3 Enjoy Banff
Enjoy two days of skiing! Mount Norquay towers over Banff and offers a thrilling experience for skiers and snowboarders of every age and skill-level. Experience a variety of groomed runs, well-lit terrain park, and excellent lessons for all ages. Or visit Sunshine Village for some of the most beautiful above tree line skiing in Canada.
The relaxed charms of Banff provide the ideal apres-ski refuge. An abundance of restaurants, lounges and cafes are all ready to serve.
Days 4-6 Discover Lake Louise
Rightfully known as the “Jewel of the Rockies” - its water and towering peaks make it the most photographed lake in all of Canada. It is also Alberta’s largest ski area and ranks with the finest ski resorts in the world. With over a hundred runs, and thousands of acres of open bowl skiing there is something for everyone.
Take your choice of two great hotels – the rustic elegance of Deer Lodge ideal beauty and locale of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Time off the runs is just as exciting with a variety of activities for all ages - tubing, tobogganing, dog sledding, sleigh rides to name a few. However you spend your days, enjoy lively evenings in restaurants and lounges, as well as quiet ones with hot cocoa over the fire.
Day 7 Continue to Jasper on your Canada Ski Vacation
Follow the Icefields Parkway through Banff and Jasper National Parks. This remarkable highway boasts views of snowy paradise that are sure to get you geared up for more skiing.
Choose your ideal Jasper ski resort - the superior Jasper Inn Alpine Resort or the deluxe Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Days 8 & 9 – Enjoy Jasper
Pristine Marmot Basin affectionately known as the ‘Big Friendly,’ and offers memorable ski experiences for all ages and skill levels with a wide array of runs. Improve your skills as you cut along tree-lined trails, wide open bowls, long gentle runs, and powder filled chutes.
Spend your evenings trying a new Jasper restaurant each night. Be sure to save room for a hot chocolate with whipped cream, or maybe even a drop of Irish cream!
Day 10 Via Rail’s Snow Train to Vancouver
Enjoy spectacular views of remote wilderness as you relax in the comfort of VIA Rail’s spectacular Snow Train. The winter landscape of mountains and valleys dotted by water and wildlife rolls past your window. Indulge in a delicious dinner before retiring for the night comfortably onboard.
The most comfortable option onboard is a bedroom - a private room for 1 or 2 people containing private washroom facilities. A shower room is steps from your cabin and includes a complimentary shower kit.
Day 11 Travel to Whistler
Wake this morning to the sweet smell of orange juice and fresh fruit. Views of the Thompson and Fraser rivers are just beyond your window. The fertile valley signals your approach to Vancouver.
Your transfer coach awaits your arrival - travel along the Sea to Sky highway to Whistler Resort, rightfully one of the most famous ski resorts in the world. For your accommodation, choose between the Holiday Inn Sunspree, or the deluxe Four Seasons Whistler.
Days 12 to 14 Ski Whistler
